Guado Spino Breeding Farm, Ponte Vecchio, Milano, began breeding miniature horses and miniature donkeys in 2006. All animals are registered in Stud Books in USA, UK and Holland. We guarantee that non of our stock are inbred and non of our mares are mated before they are 4years old, therefore allowing a natural growth pattern. Our miniature horses have a good build, their legs are 50% of their actual height and all are sold with a guaranteed pedigree.

The animals are presented in their natural state without any artificial or cosmetic enhancement. They live outdoors all year round, which ensures a well-balanced, robust, adaptable and trainable animal. At birth they are given ‘imprinting’ which simplifies handling and training. Foals are never weaned before 7months, and stay with the rest of the herd learning their rules and behaviour.
To obtain healthy animals with an authentic height, donkeys and horses share the same open paddocks. All are fed quality cut hay and mothers and foals are given suitable specialised feed. Registration is with Stud Books of the American Miniature Association, the British Miniature Horse Society and the Netherlands Mini Paarden Registratic Stamboek.
